Small shop with only 40 dim sum items on the menu. I really wanted to love this place but the flavor was missing something. The portions are large, the prices are good and the service was excellent. The restaurant is super small with like 5 tables. It's really a to go place. Prob wouldn't come back as flavor and quality are of most importance to me. But if you're looking for a lot of food at a reasonable price then go here.

Ordered takeout and wait wasn't too long until the order was ready. Upon eating the food, everything was nice and hot. You can tell everything was made fresh. Also every piece of dim sum was huge especially the shiu mai and ha gao. Restaurant is small but there are tables to dine in. I pass by this place every so often and always see people outside the restaurant so it seems to be popular! Glad I decided to try them out.

Small shop but great place for quick take out of dim sum. Service is good - English / Chinese speaking. They take both cash and card - min for card is $20. Staff was super friendly. Told me to order ahead by calling next time so I wouldn't have to wait so long. Although I didn't wait too long at all. Came here on a Monday morning and jr was pretty empty at 10am. Ordered at the register - 2 shrimp rice rolls, 2 orders of siu mai, chicken and abolene porridge. All of it was delicious. I had to wait a little longer for the porridge and rice rolls so that's why they told me cal ahead next time. Very nice place, I'll return again. There is a parking lot and street parking. Not a palce to dine in although there was one table inside if you wanna sit down for a really quick bite.

A quaint little spot off a main street. It was my first time there and I ordered several items (usually my go-to items whenever I have dim sum) and they were made to order. The place was empty but I waited about 20 minutes to get my food. Within that time I saw plenty of people and food services come through and pick up their food. So it's definitely a popular spot. The food was delicious, hot and full of flavor. The service was friendly and they have pictures of all their items in case you forget the names. The sticky rice was pretty good, but the shrimp shumai and BBQ pork bun were amazing. The place is small (only one table) so definitely a grab-and-go spot but definitely a place to check out when you're on the go. Plus, they are open early.

4.5 stars. Takeout only kind of place. Food and service is good. Price is fine. Had numerous dim sums from this & the San Gabriel location. Both are good. The only thing I don't like about this place is the location. It's in a sketchy neighborhood with tons of traffic on Garvey. The Rosemead Blvd & Garvey intersection is hectic with heavy traffic and people selling things and/or begging for money on the two dividers of Garvey Ave. There are also people on bikes that you need to watch out for. The vibe of the area is just hectic and stressful. Other than that, no complains about the food, service or price.

Total order: 6 items came out to $39.36 after tax Shrimp har gow, shrimp siu mai, (2) shrimp rice roll, beef rice roll, bbq pork rice roll - Quality: 4.5/5 Everything was pretty good and tasty. Only complaint is that the rice rolls have a bit too much rice (paper?) and the proportions of rice to meat is a bit off. - Customer service: 5/5 employees were very friendly and helpful, they didn't rush me to order even tho I was indecisive - Parking: 4/5 there are 3-4 designated parking spots for the dim sum place and the rest are for the laundromat. Also there's only driveway to go in/out so be careful driving - What to expect: take-out only, there's a small plastic table with a couple seats but not much of an ambiance if you plan to eat inside.

I was craving dim sum, but didn't wanna get dressed up or wait on a Sunday so I found this place and my BF was down to. Since it wasn't too far from our house. The store was clean and they were fairly friendly. What we ordered was pretty basic for the Dim Sum order. My favorites were the Shrimp Har Gow, Sticky Rice Wrap, Pineapple Egg Yolk Bun, and Spare Ribs in Garlic Sauce. If you want a pretty decent to-go dim sum without the wait...give this place a try.

Quality/Quantity - Got 4 different Dim Sums = Shrimp Har Gow - Just okay, much smaller than we are used to compared to the Bay Area, CA. Shrimp Rice Roll - Again just okay, but way smaller than we are accustomed; are we seeing a trend here? Shrimp and Chive Dumpling - This was better, but much more expensive than the Bay Area due to only 3 per order versus 4. Normal size that we are accustomed to. Fried Chicken Dumpling - Impulsive buy as I am trying, but failing, to cut back on deep fry foods. This just happened to be the best of all the dim sum. Very good light fry, not greasy at all. Good size dumplings also. Sorry, forgot to take individual pics of the dim sum; guess we were too hungry. Overall limited menu, not good or bad. Atmosphere - Small mom and pop location. Open 6 days a week from 7am to 3:30pm, closed Tuesdays. Yelp hours differ. Small parking lot, but no problems today getting a space. "Funnel" entrance/exit, so drive safely. Service - 5 stars. I believe it was the owner that helped us. He was nice, professional, and prompt. Happy gave us all that we asked for. And even gave us a to-go menu for future reference. Price - $26, a little pricey for to-go dim sum (compared to the Bay Area, CA) but sadly for us, the best value in this area. Hence the high rating. $20 minimum for credit card charges, never an issue with us... The only advice I have is to provide an itemized receipt next time. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since opening for approximately a year. See you next time we are in the area.
